THE TRAINING SPACE
Movement and physical wellbeing at Project Ibiza
The movement and training will be split between the Luxury Villa and training space - Project Ibiza.
This ground floor movement space compliments and helps to redefine the way you move and your relationship to your body through natural movement technologies. The space is fully equipped with soft matting, bars, gymnastic rings, parallel bars, blocks, a climbing wall and a lot more.
The space also has its own in-house Acai and smoothie bar which operates during the workshop hours.
MEET THE TEAM
SIMON & JOHN
Both former Royal Marine Commandos, our journey started in 2009 whilst serving with UK Special Forces. Working in a job that placed huge demands on the body and mind, and where second place could result in serious injury or death, sparked a deep interest in human performance. Now our passion is sharing the lessons we have learned with as many people as possible, to help everyone achieve the best health they can.
Drawing from expertise gained during our military careers we are also dedicated to creating bespoke, high quality training & experience packages that are fun and enriching. Between us we have travelled and worked across the globe, from patrolling under humid jungle canopies in Malaysia, climbing the High Tatras in Slovakia, to skiing the icy snowfields of Norway.
With a background of operational deployments as a Royal Marines Commando and 6 years in Surrey’s Fire and Rescue service, David is TNE’s professional health coach.
In between fighting fires David gained qualifications as a Personal Trainer, Kettlebell Instructor and Yoga teacher, plus a black belt in Filipino Kyusho. After leaving the Fire Service David moved to Thailand to teach as the Fitness Manager of the Samahita Retreat. During his time there he continued to develop his studies of yoga and pranayama whilst gaining a deeper understanding of the human body, studying Eastern and Western practices from world renowned teachers.
David specialises and teaches movement through ‘principle based learning’ via gymnastics, kettlebells, parallettes and general mobility sequencing, as well as continuing to study and practice daily.
Ibiza has a large airport that takes international and domestic flights from many varied locations. Typical flights from the UK and within Europe are within the €100 - €180 range during October.
We recommend arriving for the retreat on Monday 19th (Check in is at 2:00pm) and leaving Monday 26th. Most flights to Ibiza are 2.5 hours from Heathrow, Gatwick or London City airport.

Your week with us is the ultimate antidote to the stresses of life, a chance to escape the rat race, slow down, and put the focus back on you and your well-being.
Why don't I just go on a holiday?
You will still be getting a fantastic holiday, but also much more than that. Retreat comes from the Latin verb “to pull back.” So, a retreat is a place where you can pull back from the world. It gives you the space to focus on you and your health so you can regroup and re-energise. Something we all need from time to time.
We keep the numbers on our retreat purposefully low to ensure you get exactly what you need from the week. This means you get the personalised attention you deserve and allows you to tailor-make your holiday, dropping into classes and choosing which activities to participate in.
Most importantly, a retreat gives you time for yourself! With everything taken care of it removes any and all pressure and expectations and allows you to trust in the process of the journey.
What if I don't have anyone to go with?
Escape with a friend, as a couple or on your own, however you do it the experience will be equally rewarding. In fact, the week is the perfect opportunity to get away on your own.
During your week with us you are guaranteed a friendly and welcoming environment, great accommodation and a fantastic experience. Even better, you will be accompanied by like-minded people, potentially making friends that will last you a lifetime.
It can be a little intimidating to meet new people, but you don’t have to be outgoing or socially skilled, the experiences you have will automatically bring you closer to the others you are sharing them with.
Take the step and you will gain a new found freedom. You can holiday on your terms, your way. The joy of going solo is your programme can be as packed or as relaxing as you want.
The group size we take means you get the best of both worlds. Being in a social environment that creates a great community feeling, but with enough space to not be on top of each other.
Can I come if I don't know any Yoga or I'm unfit?
The Natural Edge retreat is for all levels!
Each class is designed so that no matter what level you’re at you will get the most out of it. There is never any judgement on what level you’re at. You will be leaving at the end of the week feeling more flexible, fitter and full of energy.
This is the perfect opportunity to kickstart your health in a relaxed and friendly environment!
What will a typical day look like?
Remember, everything is optional and you can dip in and out as much as you like.
Each day will start with a 1 hour group training session under the sun's morning rays to get you warmed up and ready to go. In the afternoon there will be an outdoor adventure which will change each day … imagine hiking, cycling, snorkeling, kayaking etc. Then ease into the evening with a more restorative movement and yoga practice.
In between sessions there will be time for you to relax in whatever way you wish.
What about food during the week?
You will have easy access to fresh food and produce during your stay. Most people start their day with breakfast/brunch at the smoothie and acai bar located at the training venue.
Within 2 minutes drive of the training venue is a great organic restaurant for lunch, catering for all types of dietary requirements and selling local organic coffee. Depending on the day's activities you will also be able to try out many different restaurants on the quieter beaches along the north of the island.
Evening meals can be sourced from a wealth of local shops including fresh produce to compliment your stay. During your stay the TNE team will also be organising evening trips to highly recommended restaurants and organising a number of group BBQ’s at the luxury villa.
