Day 1 - Friday 16th July

1300 - Welcome Hike + Introductory Talk

Stretch your legs with an invigorating hike through the spectacula Snowdonia National Park. Set your mindset for the weekend and understand the principles of The Natural Edge ethos and how it can enhance your own lifestyle.

1615 - Drop off bags / accommodation

Arrive at Trigonos and get an introduction to the venue and all the information you need for your stay.

1800 - The Limitless Sequence

A 30 minute sequence to activate the parasympathetic nervous system leaving you relaxed and invigorated.

1900 - Dinner + Wind Down

Enjoy a delicious locally sourced meal and the chance to relax and chat with the team and ask any questions in a friendly, informal environment.

Day 2 - Saturday 17th July

0500 - Sunrise Walk

Kick off the day with movement and natural light to reboot your circadian rhythm.

0600 - Breathwork Practice

Learn a number of scientifically proven exercises to enhance your ability to breathe optimally and handle stress. These methods are derived from ancient and modern day practices and will also lead to enhanced performance in sport and daily life.

0640 - Full Mobility

This head to toe bodyweight routine will improve your ability to access a wide range of movement patterns to enhance your movement potential, assist overall health and reduce your risk of injury.

0730 - Cold Water Swim

Finish off the morning with an invigorating cold water dip in the freshwater lake llyn nantlle uchaf that looks up to the west face of Snowdon.

0800 - Breakfast + Coach Q&A

Enjoy a delicious locally sourced brunch and the chance to relax and chat with the team and ask any questions in a friendly, informal environment.

1000 - Facing Challenge Seminar

Learn how to navigate the obstacles that life throws at you without letting pressure, overwhelm or imposter syndrome get the better of you.

1100 - Morning Tea Break

Enjoy more delicious food and recharge your batteries.

1200 - Downtime

Stimulate your sensory systems and cognitive bloodflow as we get back outside into the spectacular nature surrounding Trigonos.

1300 - Lunch

Enjoy a delicious lunch using local ingredients and freshly prepared by the onsite chef.

1430 - Human Movement Workshop

Practice a wide range of drills that will help to improve overall balance, coordination, proprioceptive feedback, strength, reactions and conditioning.

1600 - Afternoon Tea Break

Enjoy more delicious food and recharge your batteries.

1630 - Control Your Focus Seminar

Learn how to spend your time and energy focusing on situations and events that you have control over to increase feelings of empowerment and confidence.

1800 - Downtime

Take some time out to yourselves to explore the surrounding environment or relax prior to the evenings activities.

1900 - Dinner & Wind Down

Enjoy a delicious locally sourced meal and the chance to relax and chat with the team and ask any questions in a friendly, informal environment.

2030 - Sunset Stroll + Q&A

End the day as you started it - with a dose of infra-red / red light to further optimise your circadian rhythm.

For true resilience you must be committed to your life and your goals, and have a compelling reason to get out of bed in the morning. Commitment isn't just restricted to your work - commit to your relationships, friendships, and the causes you care about.

1000 - Weekend Roundup

A short walk and final roundup of all that has been covered and the best path to move forward with the knowledge you have learnt.

1200 - Lunch

The Location

Trigonos is a retreat located on an 18 acre estate in a quiet Snowdonia valley, bordering a lake within a superb mountain landscape that looks up to the west face of Snowdon.

With a welcoming atmosphere, comfortable residential accommodation, and a range of pleasant workrooms and plenty of refreshing outdoor space it is the perfect location.

The estate includes meadowland, small woodlands, a stream running down to the lake, a field for growing vegetables, salads and fruits for our kitchen and space to simply wander or just quietly sit.

The Team

David Tilston is one of the UK's leading movement and breathwork coaches. As a former Royal Marines Commando who found a passion for teaching health and wellbeing, David is an expert at helping others build physical resilience. David's knowledge of calisthenics, mobility sequencing and yoga enables him to dial into weak and restricted areas and unlock them to create a strong and functional body.

Simon Jeffries is a mindset & resilience coach who combines his elite military experience with cutting edge psychology to help others remove limitations, find their peak mental performance and build resilience. Simon uses the lessons he learned serving with Special Forces, and his battle with stress in the corporate world, to translate theory into simple, easy-to-understand, actionable steps.

FAQs

What is included?

Basically everything except travel to and from the weekend. Accommodation and all food is included.

What kit do I need?

- Clothes suitable for walking. Trainers will be fine since we will be using tracks and paths.
- Comfy workout clothing.
- Casual clothes.
- An extra towel for swimming.

Do I need to be a strong swimmer?

No. The cold water swims can be anything from floating in waist high water to relaxed swimming in the vicinity of the shoreline. The main purpose is to gain cold water exposure rather than swimming lengths!

What if I don't have anyone to go with?

Escape with a friend, as a couple or on your own, however you do it the experience will be equally rewarding. In fact, the weekend is the perfect opportunity to get away on your own.

During your weekend with us you are guaranteed a friendly and welcoming environment, great accommodation and a fantastic experience. Even better, you will be accompanied by like-minded people, potentially making friends that will last you a lifetime.

It can be a little intimidating to meet new people, but you don't have to be outgoing or socially skilled, the experiences you have will automatically bring you closer to the others you are sharing them with.

Will I be sharing a room?

We have a mix of single, twin and double rooms so yes you may end up sharing if you choose a twin room. We will allocate same sex rooms.

Can I come if I don't know any Yoga or I'm unfit?

The Limitless weekend is for all levels!

Each class is designed so that no matter what level you're at you will get the most out of it. There is never any judgement on what level you're at. You will be leaving at the end of the week feeling more flexible, fitter and full of energy.

This is the perfect opportunity to kickstart your health in a relaxed and friendly environment!

How fit do I need to be and how much experience do I need?

You do not need to be fit to attend these days.

Will you comply with COVID-19 guidelines?

Yes, we will be complying with government recommendations.

Is there parking available?

Yes there is ample parking.
